A slew of new models by hero honda will be soon in market giving a hike to their already hiked sales. Hero Honda on their tally by this ending august saw sales crossing the 4 lakh mark i.e. 4.15 lakh units againist 3.1 lakh units in august last year. which means a growth of 36% is achieved. on this the marketting and sales head Anil Dua said ” our focussed strategy, the increased momentum from several key initiatives as well as the strength of our brands and network have all contributed to the excellent performance”. The plan is to cross the sales of 6 lakh plus vehicles by this october which was the mark on oct, 08.
But for sure droughts and rains can pose a major threat to automobile sector and if monsoons will retains its non favourable conditions throughout the season then it does not certainly augur well for the industry.
