Ninja from Kawasaki is the series of bikes which prove heart throb for youth in every possible manner. The bikes falling under name tag Ninja are always worth riding and reviewing. The most popular Ninja’s are ZX-10R, ZX-12R and ZX-14R. And recently, Kawasaki introduced a low power model of Ninja in India, Ninja 250R.
As 2010 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is receiving appreciations on new featuring, I decided to write up a review on the same for the fans round the globe, especially for Indian ones.
10R is still the same in mechanical aspects but slight changes put on to evident segment.
The bike comes with a body work inspired from ZX-6R edition which features slim looks. The machine is still 459 pounds in weight after it was turned into so in 2008. Still the bike proves and looks lighter.
The fairing panels at sides, centre and upper part add eye catching facets to the bike along with the adjunct of embossed metallic grey coating over the titanium muffler without which the exhaust part could prove awkward in looks. Also, Fairings cock pit engaged with trim pieces makes rider’s view more cleared out.
Transmission part of 10R bikes was never an issue to discuss but this time the Green Team has highlights for us. The change in shift ratchet assembly, springs & collars, shifting arm proves friction for friction in the working of shift-shaft pivot. The proficient gear shifts of ZX are now much more slippery, especially in downshifts.
The machine is low on vibrations and you can easily boost up the speed round 80mph in fourth shift that can be verified by handy gear position indicator. Another feature, freeway roll-on grunt is accessible from sixth gear.
Mirrors/signal and tail pieces are detachable but mirrors lack a broader range of adjustment. As discussed earlier, body work is slimmer but still not any hard impact on wind protection.
“Video Demonstration“
bikeSpace Verdict: The bike is really impressive on for body looks and the add-ons are appreciable. Less compromises with featuring characteristics. Can be also used as a commuter. One hour ride is not a hectic thing to deal with 2010 ZX-10R.
“The review is made concise and easy to comprehend and in reference with official Kawasaki release”
