Mahindra, an enough matured manufacturer of four wheelers have emerged as prefatory entrant in two wheeled industry with the launch of Mahindra Rodeo/Duro. The two wheeler scooters making good business for them has made them realize that the bike segment in India is much more competent and lucrative. So the turn is of motorcycles and Mahindra is planning to unveil a new motorcycle by next year.
At the event of 2010 Auto Expo, Mahindra & Mahindra debated about a new launch of M&M bike by the year 2011.
Words Of Vice President (marketing), m&m:
D Shinde, “we are currently working on launching a motorcycle from the Mahindra stable that can be expected to hit the market some time in March 2011”
The specs like displacement and power about the bike were not announced at the event yet rumours are that the bike will be below 150cc in displacement but very high in power. And the bike launch is expected by March, 2011.
