It was already a rumor from months in 2010 that Yamaha is set to launch few low range models in India. And one of them has been already introduced to market, Yamaha YBR 110. The bike is not making enough business for Yamaha, so they are eager to launch another one in same segment under name tag as Yamaha SZ 125.
Not much details about the bike are out but still expected to be a machine comparable to former model from Yamaha, Gladiator (125cc 4st 11PS). Commuter segment in Indian Auto market is ruled this time by Bajaj Autos and Hero Honda Motors developing concerns for the Japanese manufacturer in sales. SZ’s design is expected much better than YBR 110 and also featured with a bit heavy engine.
