An Engineer from Izhevsk Mechanical Works Factory, Russia has put forward a concept to blend the two most competent products of IMW; Izh-1 bike and AK-47 assault rifle.
Izhevsk Mechanical Works is one of the most renowned companies of Russia. The company had made some unique and famous products that striked the market very high. As we all know about AK-47 and AK-57, which proved very beneficial for the nation and to some other importers. Also in early 1928, the factory had introduced few motorcycle models and the most famous one is IZH-1 which was 1200cc V-twin machine.
With all latest technologies available and designs in market, a young Russian designer has decided to introduce the same IZH-1 motorcycle once again but in a new hybrid concept. The motorcycle will be entirely different from its ancestral version. Infact whole design is different except the name, position of exhaust and the space left intact beneath saddle.

Safety: The bike is somewhat designed in a car’s pattern, not in body but in safety! The bike will be featuring two airbags. One will act as to keep rider safe from crumpling on head on collision while as another will keep rider safe on striking with handle bars. The airbags are designed in a unique manner. They are designed with pointed sides that will act as if arms are catching the rider.
Technology: The bike has additional equipment in the form of proximity regulating radar system that has camera as a unit at the front of bike. The system allows you to fix a standard distance when you are behind some other vehicle in traffic. And if the car or motorcycle in front of you stops at sudden, the bike will itself slow down the speed to match the distance.
Sensors: The bike has a computer sensor inbuilt that detects possible collision on changing tracks, cornering, blind curves, etc and conveys it to the rider with a vibration to handle bar.
Traction Control: The traction control over wheels and tyres is designed in such a way that it automatically adjusts as per road conditions. ABS & Stabilizers are another accompanied features.
Power: The engine will be featuring displacement of 850cc, V-twin engine and 103kW power. The bike will be set by two-speed 60kW electric motor that will be in-turn linked with a lithium-sulphide battery.
Fuel Consumption: The designer claims that the machine will offer a mileage of 29km/ltr of petrol.
Only thing awaited is the design implementation and the machine available to fans of IZH!
