Although the TVS Apache comes in three variants, the TVS Apache RTR 160 is recognized as the base variant. It is driven by a 159.7cc engine. This bike’s engine generates 15.2Bhp of top power at 8500 rpm with 13.1Nm of maximum torque at 6500 rpm. The positives of this vehicle are soft gear shifting and excellent pick-up.
It comes with five speed manual transmission gearbox. This strong engine can deliver an excellent pick-up. It can reach 60 kmph in just about 5.3 seconds. And can reach the top speed of 118 kmph. The wheelbase of the bike is 1300mm. So, it gives good control while driving.
The width of the TVS Apache 160 is 730mm while the length is 1960mm and stands 1050mm tall. It has a ground Clearance of 180mm while the kerb weight is 136kg.
There are four exciting colors to choose from. They are gray, white, yellow and black. Due to these exciting colors, trendy and stylish is how one can describe the bike. Moreover, the black alloy wheels lift the looks of the bike and can make any onlooker envious of the owner.The TVS Apache 160 has a front wheel size of 1.85 X 17” and a rear wheel size of 2.15 X 18”. Both of them come with 90 / 90 X 17” tubeless tyres. This tyre size allows a better grip on the road and the bike can move on with high speeds without losing the firm touch of the ground.
There are disc brakes for both the wheels. There are the 270mm front disc brakes while 200mm rear disc brakes. Both the brakes ensure a fast reduction in speed and the bike can be controlled fairly quickly. This is a big plus point as it ensures complete safety to the rider as well as to the commuters.
The TVS Apache 160 has advanced suspension system. It is known as the Poly Shock Absorbers. Be it bumpy roads or rough roads, the Poly Shock Absorbers make life easy while driving on any kind of a surface. However, the extra cost of maintenance is a big negative.
