Bajaj Auto’s New Discovery – The New Discover 125cc

As we have always reported to you about the various new launches by various companies in the past like the Mahindra Mojo 300cc or the Honda CBR250R in India, there is Bajaj Auto coming up with yet another new vehicle in the market. The new bike from Bajaj will be from the Discover clan. It will be the all new Discover 125cc.

The launch is certainly aimed at tightening the hold the company is looking to get in the market. Well, no marks for guessing that patented Digital Twin Spark ignition (DTSi) technology will be in place. The bike is seen as the center pillar will is missing from the 100cc entry level bikes up to the 150cc bikes.

The company said that the Discover 125cc has been designed with a view to catering to the needs of the commuters. Yes, there are Discover 100cc and Discover 150cc already in the market. However, a bike which would find the mean of these two bikes was necessary. It is capable of providing both the superior power as well as the healthy millage.

Bajaj Auto has expressed confidence that this bike will be able to fulfill the needs of those commuters who prefer such a bike, which is not too heavy – in terms of capacity, but can dish out quality millage. Maybe, Discover 125cc can provide the same.

Bajaj comes second only to Hero Honda in terms of being the highest bike manufacturer and seller. As of now, the company plans to target a sale of 1.5 lakh of units per month when the Discover 125cc is launched in the coming financial year. Currently the company sells around 1.2 lakh units per month.

The bike will cost Rs 45,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). As the bike is center of the two Discover bikes currently in the market, the price tag of Discover 125cc also lies in between the two other bikes.
