A lot has been said about the Honda Activa. It is one of the best vehicles that average college going boys and girls . It is easy and light to handle. This makes it an instant hit for the females too. With popular color like red, the bike looks all the more attractive.
Even if the bike falls in the scooterette segment, it will be wrong to underestimate the vehicle. The shape of the vehicle may give you a feeling that it sports a light machine. However, the engine of the bike has a displacement of 109cc. It will give you an idea of the strength of the machine. The bike comes with a 4 stroke, single cylinder air cooled engine. The maximum power the bike generates is 8 Bhp at 7500 rpm and the highest torque it produces is 9 Nm at 5500 rpm.
The TVS Scooty Pep+ also falls in the scooterette section. However, it has a slightly lower engine displacement with 87.8 cc. Like the Activa, the Pep+ also comes in a 4 stroke, single cylinder air cooled engine. The high power the bike creates is 5 Bhp at 6500 rpm while the peak torque the Scooty generates is 5.8 Nm at 4000 rpm. Like the Activa, the TVS Scooty also comes with automatic gears. This makes driving all the easier.
The 5.3 liters of fuel tank seems to be okay for the Activa. The top speed of the Activa is 80 kmph. The headlamps have been redesigned and the turn indicators have been integrated in the body itself. There is a new CBS system in place for the bike which makes the braking quite easier. Whenever you apply the front brake, the rear brake is also automatically operated.
You will find most of the things comfortable in the Scooty Pep+. However, if a taller person needs to drive the bike, he will have to move back on the seat otherwise, his knees are sure to fight with the handle of the bike.
The Activa comes in a big color range. There are candy lucid red, force silver metallic, pearl sunbeam white, geny grey metallic, wild purple metallic and black to choose from. This gives much more options for the choosy ladies to get the bike of their favorite color.
Apart from the looks and the comfort of driving, there is enough stress given on the safety factor of the rider. The brakes and the suspension are what are the most important when it comes to safe driving. For both the front and the rear wheels, there are the drum 130 mm brakes.
The length of the Activa is 1761 mm, the height is 1147 mm and the width is 710 mm. The ground clearance is 145 mm. As for the suspension, there is the bottom link with spring loaded hydraulic damper for the front while unit swing with spring loaded hydraulic damper is located for the rear wheel.
Like the Activa, the Scooty Pep+ also comes in eye-catching color shades. The color shades available for the bike are electric red, purple mischief, night black, mauve and perky pink.
The length of the Scooty is 1685 mm, the height is 1060 mm and the width is 590 mm. The ground clearance is 135 mm. The drum 110 mm brakes provide the necessary safety for the rider.

I wanted the best scooterette for my paa which suits the country side roads which are fully damaged n which becomes highly impossible during the rainy season.my paa who is conservative still uses his bajaj , i’m suggesting aviator which i think to be similar to bajaj.
