
Garware Motors are in the news again. The auto makers are in all readiness to launch the Hyosung GT650N bike in India. It is expected that the bike may be launched in the month of November. That will add another bike in the Indian market. This means the competition will get hotter post Diwali season.
Garware Motors are based in Pune and the bike was seen there. That is certainly the final testing phase for the bike. The initial impression is that it is yet another version of the GT650R. However, there is no official word about the variant of the bike.
The 650cc bike is capable of proving a high power of 75 Bhp at 9000 rpm and can generate a high torque of 60 Nm at 7500 rpm. The bike is available in two modes – one is the single color and the other is the duel toned effect. The single color bike costs about Rs. 4,90,000 while the two-colored bike can have a max price of 5,05,000.
The booking for the vehicle will start from October 21. However, it easily will take more than two months for the deliveries to start. This means, the first bike will only be delivered in 2012. Garware Motors have showrooms at various places in the country and that should help them increase the sales.
Kochi in Kerala is the latest showroom in their list. This is the company’s ninth showroom in the country. Garware Motors have a target of selling about 30 bikes till the 2011 rolls over.
Some of the specifications of the bike are as follows. The bike will be 2095 mm in length and 1135 mm in height and will weigh about 215 KGs. The bike will be available in colors like Ruby Red, Black, White Glory Cherry and Satin Black and will have a fuel tank of 17 liters.
