Harley Davidson showcases low-cost custom models at Auto Expo

Unbelievable it may sound, but the bike will now be available for only Rs. 9.95 lakhs (Ex-showroom price). Another bike, the FXDC Super Glide Custom will carry a price tag of Rs. 11.5 lakhs (Ex-showroom price).

With this launch, the company will be expanding the range of its Complete Knockdown Kit (CKD) models. The price tag for the FXDB Street Bob has made it a bike that is the most reasonably priced for the 1600cc cruiser. The culture of leisure riding is going up in India. And Harley Davidson is playing its part as a pioneer, the MD of the company, Mr. Anoop Prakash said.

The company has invested in the Indian market with a view to providing the bike enthusiasts with reasonably priced bikes. The company has said that they will be investing in strategies to make their products more accessible to the potential customers.

Ducati unveils the low-cost Monster 795 at the Auto Expo

At this time, two top ranked CEOs were present – Mr. Ashish Chordia, CEO, Ducati India and Mr. Mirko Bordiga CEO, Ducati Asia Pacific. This model bears the lowest price tag – Rs. 6, 99,000 (Ex-showroom price). The model will target customers especially from Asia.

The very aim of launching the Monster 795 is to expand the company’s base in the Asian auto market, where India is a prominent marketplace. It remains to be seen how the Monster gets a response in Asia. But the bike remains one of the best selling models in almost all the markets where Ducati operates.

Nevertheless, Monster 795 is a brand that has been in the waiting list of many Ducati fans. With the low price tag, it should help the customers own the brand of their choice, the India CEO of the company feels. That is why it is an important contributor to the success of Ducat in India.
