However, there has been a slight problem detected in the Pulsar 220 model. Pulsar is one brand that has taken Bajaj Auto to new heights. However, the bike is on a recall mode now. The problem has been spotted in the part that leads to a starting problem in the vehicle.
The problem is not, however, in all the units of Pulsar 220. It has been only perceived in some units that were brought in the market from only a particular batch. Mr. K Srinivas, who is the two wheeler unit president of Bajaj Auto, has said that it is not possible to make a perfect machine for anyone. It is very likely that there could be faults in it. However, to achieve the perfection, Bajaj Auto always strives to monitor things when bikes are under the manufacturing process.
As far as the recalls are concerned, the company has not divulged any details apart from mentioning they reason for the recall. The only information given out at this point of time was that the dealers in question have been given the necessary information about the recall.
The dealers, in turn have begun the process of informing their customers by phones and messaging. The customers will get the service and the new parts absolutely free of any charge. The entire process of changing the parts will take only about 15 to 20 minutes.
Apart from that, the company is also inspecting other brands to find out if things are fine with those models. As far as the Pulsar 220 owners are concerned, do keep checking your mobile phone for any SMS from the company.
