Some days we had reported to you about the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS being ready for the launch. As a matter of fact, Bajaj had announced that they would be launching the Pulsar 200 NS in the country soon. It was back in March and Bajaj had declared that the bike would be available for the consumers by the month of April.
However, the launch did not go ahead as promised by the auto company. But the wait is not for too long now. The Pulsar 200 NS is in all readiness to hit the roads in this week itself. The bike will be launched in the state of Maharashtra. This was announced by Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, who gave this information. As for the other parts of the country, they will be covered in a phased manner and the bike will be available for the entire nation by the month of July.
The price of the bike will be in the region of Rs. one lakh. The company is planning to produce at least 2500 units in June. After that the production will be carried out according to the demand of the bike in the market from July onwards. The next month will see the export of Pulsar getting underway.
The company has set their target for sales in each corresponding month. Bajaj plans to sell anything between 10,000 and 15,000 units per month after a quarter of period. According to Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, they will keep the current brand of Pulsar going as well as introduce a new Pulsar every year henceforth.
As Bajaj Auto and KTM are in the process of developing an engine that will have a capacity of more than 350cc, it is very much likely that the company may build the next Pulsar with a more powerful engine. There is also another possibility that Bajaj may increase the engine capacity with each corresponding year. However, these are all ifs and buts at the moment. Only when Bajaj launches their next Pulsars, we will come to know the trend.
