Deepika Padukone Is The Brand Ambassador For Yamaha Ray

A couple of days ago we had reported to you about Yamaha launching their new scooter – the Yamaha Ray. It is now time to inform you about the corresponding developments. To market their model, Yamaha has signed up the Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. It is the first time that Deepika Padukone has signed a contract to endorse an auto product.

The company is excited to have signed the actress as they feel that the feminine nature of the scooter goes well with the young beautiful actress. Yamaha aims to target more customers by banking on Deepika Padukone. On the other hand, another Bollywood star – John Abraham will remain the face of the Yamaha bikes.

Coming back to Deepika Padukone, she has a range of commercials in the wings for her. In Bollywood, Deepika Padukone sports a very bubbly image – just like Priyanka Chopra. That is why Yamaha is trying to cash in on the friendly image of Deepika Padukone to market their vehicles for them.

Yamaha is targeting mostly the female market with Yamaha Ray. For this reason the onscreen appearance and the popularity of Deepika Padukone should help them better. Deepika Padukone even has a very social connect with the Indian audience even off screen too.

The CEO and MD of India Yamaha Motor Pvt.Ltd, Mr. Hiroyuki Suzuki said that they are happy about their association with Deepika Padukone. He said that the alliance with the Indian actress is a welcome gesture for them as Deepika stands for ‘cool and beauty’.

As far as the two faces of Yamaha are concerned, it is hoped that John Abraham and Deepika Padukone will do a lot good to the company. John Abraham has had a good campaign with Yamaha and the results are there to see. With Deepika also joining the ad campaigns, life should look comfortable for Yamaha in the days to come.

Yamaha is currently focusing more on the scooter segment. They are trying to strengthen their base in the Indian market by introducing vehicles like the Ray. In a few days from now, we will be able to know how the Yamaha Ray is performing.
