The price tag for the FXDB Street Bob has made it a bike that is the most reasonably priced for the 1600cc cruiser. The culture of leisure riding is going up in India. And Harley Davidson is playing its part as a pioneer, the MD of the company, Mr. Anoop Prakash said.

The company has invested in the Indian market with a view to providing the bike enthusiasts with reasonably priced bikes. The company has said that they will be investing in strategies to make their products more accessible to the potential customers.

Ducati unveils the low-cost Monster 795 at the Auto Expo

Another low cost vehicle that was showcased during the Auto Expo was from the house of Ducati. At this time, two top ranked CEOs were present – Mr. Ashish Chordia, CEO, Ducati India and Mr. Mirko Bordiga CEO, Ducati Asia Pacific. This model bears the lowest price tag – Rs. 6, 99,000 (Ex-showroom price). The model will target customers especially from Asia.

The very aim of launching the Monster 795 is to expand the company’s base in the Asian auto market, where India is a prominent marketplace. It remains to be seen how the Monster gets a response in Asia. But the bike remains one of the best selling models in almost all the markets where Ducati operates.

Nevertheless, Monster 795 is a brand that has been in the waiting list of many Ducati fans. With the low price tag, it should help the customers own the brand of their choice, the India CEO of the company feels. That is why it is an important contributor to the success of Ducat in India.

The auto maker Ducati has once and for all launched the 1199 Pinnacle Superbike. The announcement came in Teatro Dal Verme, Milan, Italy where a press conference was held specially announce the same. Apart from the other details, the price tags of various variants of the bike were also made public.

Here are the prices at a glance: 1199 Pinnacle will cost $24,000. 1199 Pinnacle ABS variant will have a price of $25,195. The 1199 Pinnacle S ABS variant will cost the most in these three bikes with a tag of $31,595. However, the 1199 Pinnacle S Tricolore variant has the highest price of $37,585. Apart from the above mentioned bike, Ducati will also launch two more variants of the superbike for the next year. The Diavel Cromo will cost $24,468 while the 848 EVO Corse will be the cheapest of these all with a tag of $19,188.

The President of the Ducati Motor Holding, Mr. Gabriele Del Torchio expressed satisfaction that the company was performing on a positive note. The President also added that the market position was promising and there is a lot to look forward to. Due to these factors, the company was able to perform well on the global platform, he added.

Ducati has undertaken a big task of increasing the production of their bikes. However, at the same time, they are also concentrating on the development issues. The company has experienced good growth this year. Until now, they have sold more than 42,000 units and still counting. That has generated revenue to the tunes of €480 million. This alone shows an increase of more than 20 per cent since the last year.

The 1199 Pinnacle is one of the most ambitious projects of the company in recent times. It will not only help them make their mark as a super company for the superbikes but also showcase their engineering excellence.
