Mahindra Racing has their eyes completely focused on the upcoming Assen MotoGP in Netherlands. They are just fresh from their outing at the British GP, where they performed quite well. Preparations have begun for the trip to Netherlands hard and fast. They are leaving no stone unturned for their next race.

The team of Mahindra Racing is represented by two extremely young, talented and brave drivers. One of them is the 20 year old Englishman Danny Webb while the other is Marcel Schrotter, the 18 year old driver from Germany. These two are mainly responsible for the good outing for Mahindra.

It was Danny Webb who opened the account for Mahindra in this season when he finished at the 11th spot. The position for Mahindra could have been ever better if Schrotter could have finished the race. He was ahead of Webb towards the end of the race at the 9th position. However, unfortunately he crashed when 4 laps were to go.

There is one special thing that needs to be mentioned about Mahindra Racing. MR is the one and only 125 team, which have their own engine and chassis. Assen is one of the 17 rounds for the World Championship of the 125 segment. Assen ranks the seventh of these 17 rounds.

Nicola Casadei is the team chief for Mahindra Racing. He is confident that their team will perform well in the Netherlands. According to him, the team has an ascending graph of performance and he is hopeful of the team doing well in a dry climate place like Netherlands.

The Assen is considered to be one of the toughest tracks. It is a combination of old and newly built track, which is around 2.82 miles (4.54 KMs). It is so popular destination for fans that, there are easily more than 1, 00,000 fans on the race day.

Socialite Paris Hilton has decided to go on an unusual ride. Not many might have imagined, but the beautiful lady has decided to have her own MotoGP racing team. Does it sound bizarre to hear that? But that is the truth. These are the latest developments by Paris herself. Her team will be in the 125cc champion circuits.

Life in the fast lane is not new to Paris Hilton. But still, going for a racing team altogether still sounds rather unusual as far as Paris Hilton is concerned. It can be safely termed as “unusual brand sponsorships” for the Hiltons.

When she announced this, she was with her boyfriend Cy Waits in Madrid, Spain. The announcement came last weekend. Paris’ racing team will be recognized by the name of “SuperMartxe VIP by Paris Hilton.” Hearing the same might help you recall some of the things related to partying. There is no surprise in that as the name is quite suggestive of the same.

If you imagine partying after you hear this name, you are on the right track. The reason Paris selected this name indeed has to do with partying. Her team name refers to the very same Ibiza-based dance-party series. Paris Hilton has been associated with the party for more than a year now.

Well partying aside, but Paris is seriously in this business. There are no two thoughts on this. It happens to be one of the most important business ventures for the young lady. Her team will be seen in white, pink and blue.

Paris herself was ready to pose for some sexy poses on the occasion. She was in a stimulating racing gear, which had a low cut and was skin tight to the core. She posed on one of the bikes in her usual alluring poses.

After this, Paris Hilton announced about her new racing team on the social networking site Twitter. She also asked her fans about her motorcycle outfit, of course, hoping to get positive answers. She was excited, but in the excitement, she did not forget to mention herself as a “Motorcycle Barbie”.

MotoGP is making some amendments in rules for the future sessions. Earlier rule alterations in Moto3 Class are still in queue to be implemented and here we receive another set of rules for the 2011 MotoGP season.

Carmelo Ezpeleta (Dorna, Chairman), Ignacio Verneda (FIM Executive Director, Sport), Hervé Poncharal (IRTA) and Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA) are the members which are responsible for the new rules and constraints. The meeting was held on 9th December, 2010 organized by Grand Prix Commision.

The motive behind new set of rules in to strengthen the competition and to make races more serious job then they appear.

The Amendments That Were OutCome Of The Metting Are As Under:

#1 No more wastage of time over practice sessions. The practice session period is now restricted to just two days. The same will be applied to Moto2 and Moto3 (125c) and will be observed as:

• 4 sessions of 60 minutes for MotoGP
• 4 sessions of 45 minutes for Moto2 Class
• 2 morning sessions of 45 minutes & 2 afternoon sessions of 30 minutes for Moto3(125cc) class

#2 Only 3 riders per grid will be allowed

#3 Tools as an application of tyre warmers are allowed on grid

#4 GPS systems are restricted to the ones from Dorna sports only. No 3rd party GPS gadget will be allowed

The above new rules are supposed to be implemented by 19th march 2011. The new rules help to refresh the interest of fans and the first races to be implemented by such definitely prove hit.

Mahindra and Mahindra is about to set a new era for Indians in the world of International MotorSports. M&M will enter Moto3 or 125cc class of MotoGP from year 2011. M&M will be seen as a team with a set of 2 riders to participate. The team will show its first participation in opening round of 2011 MotoGP World Championship.

It was already a rumor for about six months since the company was busy manufacturing motorcycles which were developed under high technology scenario and tested on race circuits of Italy. The design works will be completely managed by Engines Engineering, Italy.

If we talk about car racing, F1 is the ambassador globally. But we had already seen an Indian team in the form of Kingfisher which participated in world championships since two years. But it didn’t feature all of Indians as drivers. Now the turn is for 2-wheelers under team tag of India and possibly the riders with Indian nationality too. The process is under going under severe engineering and technical aspects which shall yield results in few months from now.

MotoGP races, organized by Dorna Sports are global representatives of MotorSports since 1988. Changes are necessary in very field and Moto executives have decided to make some alterations in Moto3 Class. By means of class like Moto2 and Moto3, the rules for racing are different and the power and displacement of bikes is limited. As an example to illustrate, Moto2 class allows only those bikes in race that have an engine displacement of 600cc and the engine supplier is bound to be from Honda.

In the latest news, Moto3 class that used to feature 125cc engines are now directed to use 250cc, 4-stroke engines. Besides this main amendment, other changes brought up in Moto3 class segment are as follows:

1. No more oval shaped piston will be allowed
2. Engine cannot have a bore size over 81mm
3. Some restrictions to angular velocity and rpm should stay below 14000 units
4. Bike valves cannot be more than 4 in number and also directed to avoid hydraulic system, variable valve timing and VVOS
5. Including all upgrades, engine price value should stay under 12000euro/unit
6. Same software/hardware will be attributed to all teams but some choices will be allowed like opting for Tuning Options
7. Ride By Wire Technology is restricted further
8. The weight in aggregate of bike and rider should fall over a lower limit of 148kg

The new rules and prototypes are said to be implemented in Moto3 class in year 2012.

Yesterday on 9th Nov, day one of the official MotoGP test was held at Valencia race circuit. And what made the venue so special was Valentino Rossi seen in some different outfit. Yamaha Rider is now a Ducati Rider with gears changed, team changed, workshop changed, bike changed but what was seen unaltered was the #46 and “TheDoctor” tag line. I am sure many recognize Rossi just because of those two highlights and references.

India has not yet established any bright side of motorcycle racing globally. But there are few local races that help talent to be recognized. A Racing Team called Ten10 which is actually grounded from Bangalore city is a group of riders that can really twist the throttle to long extent and can handle curves at better velocities. The team races on either 150cc bikes or 1000cc superbikes. Ten10 Racing don’t have much appreciable record beyond Asia but this time they have something to be admired.Yes the team has signed a 3 year contract with San Marino based WTR Team. WTR is a globally recognized superbike racer team and they have even participated in Moto2 class this year.

In regard to 3 years agreement, it is very possible that an Indian rider will have an opportunity to ride MotoGP 125cc circuit. Hope the performances of Ten10 riders result virtue yielding to themselves as well to the nation. This genuinely justifies as why Drona Sports were looking to organize MotoGP session in India.

The race tracks were on fire at Valencia where the session of MotoGP was going on. Yamaha Team was successful in conquering 2 spots in podium, the world champion Lorenzo  standing victorious over the top position and Valentino Rossi finished 3rd in the end. It was Casey stoner who secured the 2nd position at the checkered point.

The race happened to be last one for Valentino Rossi as a Yamaha Fiat Rider. It was already known that Valentino Rossi had put an end to agreement with Yamaha Team and it all went good in the end. Rossi made a GoodBye in the form of a podium position.

This is a very emotional day but I’m very happy as well because I don’t have any regrets and there have been no bad moments or thoughts throughout these seven seasons together with Yamaha. From the beginning it was something great and we worked very well together. Like in life, in sport the results are crucial but just as important is the enjoyment and we had this at Yamaha. We had a great fusion in my team – the Australians, the Italians, the Japanese, the English and many more…a lot of people all together having fun. If in 2004 somebody had told me that I would win four world championships with Yamaha and 46 Grand Prix I would have signed in blood! I am happy. I have to thank first of all Masao Furusawa because we went through some difficult moments but we were able to improve the bike and make it the best machine, then I just have to say a big thank you to everybody who helped me in these seven seasons, and wish everyone good luck

After Jorge Lorenzo was called a new world champion in Malaysia, i was waiting for further tracks battles in Estoril eagerly. But the premium riders had to feel sad over whether conditions as rain and some fast wind broke off and deliberated riders to make their practice session go a waste.

And definitely due to low visibility none of the riders was willing to go for practice as it was too risky to twist throttle. But there after the second session was carried out and the riders were seen riding a wet circuit with heavy tyres splinting the water up.

MotoGP Sepang, Malaysia witnessed 2010 World Champion – Jorge Lorenzo. A young 23 old MotoGP rider has conquered hearts of millions by standing at the top of charts on the 2010 World MotoGP championship held at Sepang.The round was a bit exciting as it gave a winner who couldn’t be called as World Champion. Valentino Rossi, won the race but Jorge Lorenzo took the title back home. Now Lorenzo is the second Spaniard after Alex Criville to be called as MotoGP world Champion. Lorenzo stated that it was his dream to conquer Premier World Championship and MotoGP Sepang 2010 was probably the day he was waiting for from his debut.

This is really the maximum a motorcycle rider can achieve in his career so we have to celebrate and enjoy these hours, minutes and seconds like it’s the end of the world. You imagine this moment in your head your whole life but when it comes you don’t know how to act or what to say. I am trying to be relaxed, to speak clearly and not say anything crazy! I’m so tired right now; I just need to be alone in a room for a few minutes, just thinking about what I’ve done!”

Definitely MotoGP Sepang 2010 was a treat to watch but what made it all special was the round which made Lorenzo stand victor and team Yamaha to retain their high stair in podium.
